Week 2 in Review
We had another productive week. Two weeks of 9th grade down, 34 to go! This week Emma did: Of course we started off the week watching the solar eclipse. We had 93% coverage here, and it was amazing to be able to see. We struggled getting any good photos of the actual eclipse because our cameras just weren't advanced enough to, but we viewed the entire eclipse start to finish. My favorite part was how DARK it got at 1:30 in the afternoon, even though the sun was still shining. Experiencing this phenomenon was pretty much our school day for Monday, and unlike half the country, all we had to do was walk out our front door to watch. We finished through lesson 6 in Ancient History. We finally were able to put Streams of Civilization textbook on the shelf for the next couple of months, and begin in her living books. She began reading, "Tales of Ancient Egypt", and "Pharaohs of Ancient Egypt". Emma completed 6 lessons in Algebra this week. She has 3 days worth le...
